  10. I've ported MGR to the Atari ST (running the MiNT multitasking system). Are
  11. you interested in the diffs? I started with the Sparc version, and the port
  12. was surprisingly easy -- in the src directory, probably around 20K of context
  13. diffs or so. I'm still working on the clients; not all of them will run
  14. on an ST (we have no /bin/sh, for example, so the stuff in demo/sh will be
  15. a problem :-). But on the whole, the code is quite clean and portable. Nice
  16. work you did there.

  18. Also: I'd like to make a binary version available for FTP.
  19. I wanted to distribute the binaries because there's no standard C compiler
  20. available for the ST; I used the gcc, but not everyone has enough memory
  21. or hard disk space to run that. Thus, sources would not be terribly useful
  22. to most Atari users.

  24. Finally, thanks for releasing MGR. It looks very nice, and performs
  25. remarkably well (I didn't really expect much on an 8 MHz 68000, but I was
  26. pleasantly surprised). And some of the clients (e.g. zoom) look quite
  27. impressive.
